  1787 New Jersey Colonial Issue Large Planchet, Plain Shield NCS VF Details CorrosionAuthority was granted on June 01, 1786 by the New Jersey General Assembly to coin approximately three million coppers weighing six pennyweight and six grains apiece. Quarterly installments were to be met by three coiners; Thomas Goadsby, Albion Cox and Walter Mould with all coppers being produced no later than June 1788. Coins were minted in Morristown, Rahway, Elizabethtown and New York. Several varieties exist. This coin has VF details with corrosion. $210
